How to Place an OrderYour Shopping Cart While you visit Stuffed Animal Shelter, use your shopping cart to keep track of the pets you want to adopt. Here's how it works: Step 1: On every pet and pet accessory detail page, you'll see the name, options, quantity and price displayed. Click on the "Add to Cart" button to begin your pet adoption or to buy a pet accessory. Step 2: When you add pets and pet accessories to your cart, you'll have three choices: remove items, update cart, continue shopping or checkout. Just click the button of your choice. Placing an Order Step 1: During the first step of the checkout process, click the "Create Account" button if it's your first time ordering with us or click the "Checkout" button to proceed directly to checkout without creating an account. You're not required to create an account at Stuffed Animal Shelter before you checkout. Because registered customers enjoy extra features including storing their bill and ship to preferences and wish lists, we give you the opportunity to create a customer account during the checkout process. For registered customers, simply enter your email address and password in the "Returning Customers" section and click the "Sign In" button. From here you can make changes to your billing and ship to information if necessary. If no changes are necessary, you can complete checkout quickly and easily. Step 2: Provide information on where your pet should be sent and what shipping method you'd like to use to get it there. If your shipping address is different than your billing address, simply click the "Change Address" button. You will also have an opportunity to enter a coupon code if you have one and/or redeem a Gift Cerstufficate™. Step 3: Select one of four credit-card payment options: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express or click the "Pay with Check or Money Order" button to pay with a check or money order. Step 4: Before you finalize your adoption, you can review your shipping, contact and billing information, as well as your adoption details. You can change your shipping information or billing information by clicking the respective "Change Address" buttons. Once you've confirmed your information, click the "Continue" button once. Stuffed Animal Shelter lets you know when we have successfully received your adoption by quickly emailing you a receipt that details your adoption. You can also check your adoption status at any time by logging into your account if you created one. Otherwise, you can use our contact us form to request status or call us toll free at 1-800-718-4171. After You Submit Your Order - We'll confirm your adoption via email.
- We'll notify you of shipment via email as your pets leave our warehouse.
- We'll charge your credit card when we send your pets from the warehouse.
- We'll alert you before processing your adoption if there is any change in price or status.

Pet & Pet Accessory AvailabilityBackorders Occasionally, a pet or pet accessory that you want may be backordered, or a pre-order item may not arrive on the date promised by the manufacturer. If this happens, we'll notify you about the delay by email as we process your adoption. You can also check on your adoption status any time by logging into your account if you created one. Otherwise, you can use our contact us form to request status or call us toll free at 1-800-718-4171.using our order status page. We ship available pets and pet accessories immediately and backordered items as soon as we receive them from the manufacturer. We won't charge your credit card for a pet or pet accessory until it's shipped from our warehouse. Suggest a Product If you want to recommend a pet or pet accessory that we don't carry, please visit our contact us page and submit your suggestion to us. Items Removed from Shopping Cart Our popular pets sell quickly. On very rare occasions, you may add a pet to your shopping cart and then see an message stating that the item has been removed from your shopping cart message when you return to checkout. This means the pet you want is temporarily unavailable. If you this happens to you, please visit our contact us page or call us toll free at 1-800-718-7161 and we’ll be happy to assist you. We can recommend a similar pet and often times we can locate the exact pet you’re searching for. Pricing and Inventory Until you complete the checkout process, we can't guarantee prices or availability. Payment OptionsPayment Methods Accepted We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, checks and money orders. We also accept debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo. We don't accept PayPal® at this time. Paying With Check or Money Order Select the pay with check or money order method during checkout and following the instructions for mailing us your check or money order. If you’re paying by check or money order, your adoption will not be processed until we receive your payment and it clears our bank. Gift Cerstufficates™ & Coupons To redeem a Gift Cerstufficate™ or coupon, enter the Gift Cerstufficate™ pin number or coupon code during checkout. Making Changes to Your AdoptionMost adoptions can be changed up to 24 hours prior to shipping. Special order items, closeout items or items that have been personalized cannot be changed for any reason. At our discretion, we may charge a restocking fee, not to exceed 25% for changed adoptions.
